FAQ

How long does a translation take to complete?
On an average a translator completes about 1500 - 3000 words per day. This will vary depending on the context, complexity and layout of the text.

I have a text with many repetitions, are my translation costs reduced?
Yes, we use translation technology tools that take your text repetitions into consideration. Cost reductions are applied based on the number of repetitions and the overall amount of text.

Do you accept very small amount of work?
We do undertake any size or any type of work, but for optimum use of resources and time, we charge a minimum amount for small jobs.

I’m not sure my text is in proper English. Will you help edit my English text before beginning the translation process?
Yes. We believe that starting a localization/translation project with a clean, error free source will increase the quality of translations into other languages. Our native English US/UK editors will ensure your source is error free, consistent and ready to be localized.

Do you offer urgent service?
Yes. If your translation is urgent, please contact us and we will make sure we speed up the process. You will receive a deadline from us for every project. Please note there are rush charges for urgent service.

What is the average turnaround time for an estimate?
In principle you will receive an estimate from within three hours of putting in your request. Each estimate is completely non-binding and includes details about the price and the delivery deadline. After receiving your confirmation, the assignment is sent out the same day to the chosen translator.

Can I also ask you to proofread translations and to do copywriting?
Our proofreaders check through each text in the finest detail and they will tweak existing translations to give them extra punch if needed. Our copywriters will have no trouble turning your great ideas into exciting creative copy.

As a prospect client, can I ask you to do a test translation for me?
As a prospect client, you are entitled to a FREE test translation of maximum 200 words max. This test translation is non-binding and gives you an idea of the quality of the work and how we handle the assignments entrusted to it.
